Mothers Day

As Mother's day recently came and went, I was pondering about all the amazing women in my life and the lives of my children. I feel luck to have awesome sisters, sister-in-laws and mom. You have been there for me through hard times, crazy times and fun times. I feel blessed to be part of your family. I love you.

So many friends and family have assisted me in raising and teaching my children. You are all amazing and I am thankful to each of you. Many of you are dear friends and I consider you part of my family. Words will never really express how much you mean to me and my kids. THANK YOU!!!

So, I wasn't ever going to even start a post because I can't ever seem to keep up with it. And I was right! So, It has now been almost a year since my last post and I don't know if I am really doing this correctly. So, breathe easy..... I am alive.

I don't know when I will post again, but I will try to do a little better. (No Promises)

Aspen Grove Part 5

In the afternoon on Saturday we all met back together for what they call Aspen Follies. We got in groups and competed on different teams against others. It was really fun.

At the end of everything, we were tired, but VERY happy!! We definitely made great memories we will remember for a long time!!

While the kids went in their different age groups to do activities, I was able to go and listen to speakers, do pottery, arts and crafts and the rope course.

They had a cool, little farm area where the kids could play and they had all old fashion phones, barber shops, cash registers, etc. They loved it and played there often.Hopefully this is the only time I see my kids behind bars...

Aspen Grove Single Parent Retreat Part 1

The bishopric invited me to attend Aspen Grove Single Parent Retreat this year with my kids. I was hesitant to go but really did enjoy it....

The Tooth Fairy was SOOO Excited

Taylor is not the best at wiggling her loose teeth. So they never get worked on and stay in her mouth FOREVER!! So, about a month ago we went to the dentist to get some cavities filled and he helped her out.

(Notice the front one that is sitting all crocked and cock-eyed, that is because it is so loose!)

Not only did he pull out the front loose one but on the bottom the two front teeth came in crocked so he pulled the ones on both sides so they would have room to straighten out.

She didn't know this was going to happen (I did) and I was asking the dentist to pull out the bottom two. So that she still wouldn't know I kept saying stuff like "Extraction" instead of "pull" (I am very tricky).

IT WORKED!!

But it was VERY traumatizing for her afterwards. (oops) So, when the tooth fairy came and saw THREE teeth under her pillow, he must have known it was hard for her because he left a $5 bill.

Where was that kind of tooth fairy when I was growing up?!?

The girls had their dance festival at school today and it was HOT!!! It was a lot of fun to see them all dressed up and getting to strut their stuff. The theme this year at their school was "Air Bonneville" and so all of the grades did a dance from a different country that they were able to "travel" to.

It was fun, but I am happy we are done with that. It seems the last several weeks of school are stuffed with lots of activities and it is hard to keep up with all of it. Only one more week!!

Well, I decided to conform and start a blog. I was dead set against it forever so I am not sure what changed my mind, but hopefully, if nothing else I will be able to keep track of memories a lot better. More to come, (once I figure out how to do all of it)
